This slotted spring pin, commonly called a roll pin or tension pin, is a hollow cylindrical fastener designed for press-fit installation into drilled holes to securely hold components together. Constructed from hardened high-carbon spring steel for strength and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, it has a nominal diameter of 3/32″ and a length of 1-1/2″. Its spring tension ensures a secure fit even under vibration, while chamfered ends provide easy insertion.
