This slotted spring pin, also referred to as a roll pin or tension pin, is a hollow cylindrical fastener designed for press-fit installation into drilled holes to securely connect or retain components. Manufactured from hardened high-carbon spring steel and coated with zinc plating for corrosion resistance, it features a nominal 1/8″ diameter and 1-1/4″ length. The pin’s spring tension ensures it remains locked in place under vibration or movement, while its chamfered ends allow for straightforward insertion.
