This is a 1/4″ standard compression nut manufactured from machined yellow brass, intended for use in low- to medium-pressure compression fitting systems. It forms a leak-resistant seal by compressing a brass sleeve (ferrule) around compatible tubing, eliminating the need for soldering, flaring, or thread sealing.
